What Is an Enclosed Circuit Breaker?
An enclosed circuit breaker is a molded-case circuit breaker (MCCB) mounted inside a protective NEMA-rated enclosure. It provides local overcurrent protection and a lockable, visible means of disconnect, often required by code for service entrances, feeders, and large equipment.
